As a first-generation immigrant, Lucky was born in Bangladesh and later moved to the United States. Growing up in a new country posed its own set of challenges, but Lucky was determined to make the most of her opportunities.
She pursued higher education and successfully completed her bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts from Hunter College. Then, Lucky went on to pursue her passion for education and obtained a master’s degree in childhood special education from Long Island University. Not only is she the first woman in her family to graduate with a college degree, but currently, she holds the position of an administrator at a school. While she finds fulfillment in her profession, her true passion lies in writing.
Writing has always been a form of creative expression for Lucky. It allows her to share stories, ideas, and insights with the world. Lucky dreams of publishing her own work and making a positive impact through her words.
Recently, Lucky has embarked on a photography project in Bangladesh to amplify the voices and stories of the often overlooked and marginalized communities within the city of Dhaka. Recognizing the power of visual storytelling, she has made it her mission to give voice to the less fortunate, providing a platform for their stories to be shared with the world. Lucky is working with a local photographer from Dhaka to capture raw and authentic moments, delving deep into the lives of individuals who have faced various struggles and challenges. By documenting their personal journeys, she hopes to challenge stereotypes, break down barriers, and foster a greater sense of empathy and understanding among viewers.
