Handful of Rice (এক মুঠো ভাত)

Handful of Rice was a grassroot effort to help underprivileged families in our neighborhood of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Our work began by providing warm meals to families living in poverty, especially women and children who are often overlooked. With the support of three dedicated volunteers on the ground, we are able to deliver directly to families living in the slums of Dhaka, using donated funds and sometimes from our own pockets.

As the project grew so did our mission. We expanded into offering free education for children impacted by poverty and child labor. Our mission is to nurture these young lives, restore opportunity, and break cycles of hardship. Our long- term goal is to empower young girls with practical skills that foster independence, dignity and sustaining future for our communities.
