Sadness is a part of what makes us human. No living soul is unfamiliar with it; even our Prophets faced multiple episodes of sadness. But Imaan, equip us with the tools to combat depression and hopelessness.
First of all, whatever you are experiencing now, know that it will pass!
If someone has wronged you or hurt you, remember this ayah:
“And your Lord does injustice to no one”
So, calm your soul, what’s meant for you will come.
Ever heard the saying, “go where you are valued?” So, grab your prayer mat and run back to Allah!

Always remember this:
“La YukallifuLlahu Nafsan Illa wus`aha”
Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.
If you’re feeling fatigued that’s affecting both your mental and emotional well-being, remember this:
“Fa Inna ma’al Usri Yusra”
In every hardship, there is a relief.
So, what is ONE thing can you do to cope with the feelings of despair?

Fix your salah and Allah will fix everything for you.
Remember that Allah puts so much barakah in your time when you pray on time. When you respect the Creator of time, He makes time work in your favor.
And a very important reminder:
Always be ready to say goodbye to anyone anytime.
“Be in this world as if you’re a traveler, a passer-by, with your clothes and shoes full of dust. Sometimes you sit under the shade of a tree, sometimes you walk in the desert. Be always a passer-by, for this is not home.” – Hadith of the Prophet (PBUH)

If you are going to attach your heart to anyone, then attach your heart to the One who has created it!
And Do Not forget that Allah is in control, you’re not!

Take a moment to embrace your lack of control over your circumstances and know that the one in control is the best of planners and loves you more than you can imagine.
Surrender your attempts to control your life and rely on Allah and trust His plan for you.
