In the depths of society,
A man seeks a wife, a maid in disguise,
Serving his selfish life.
But hear him say, with righteous might,
“I prefer women wise and independent in sight.”
In a world where fairness does not exist,
A man dictates what he rules.
His wife, once thriving in her role,
Now deprived of purpose, depression takes its toll.
For society claims to empower women,
Yet still insists they’re subject to men’s dominion.
A man proclaims his wisdom high,
For the world, he uplifts women with knowledge
Yet, he mocks his wife, behind closed doors
Oh, the irony of words unsound,
In this society that keeps us bound.
