Love and Mercy
“Don’t lose hope in God’s mercy, for He certainly forgives all sins.” (59:55)
“Be merciful to others and you will receive mercy. Forgive others and God will forgive you.” (Source: al-Adab al-Mufrad lil-Bukhārī 380)
“He has put love and mercy between your hearts.” (30:21)
“When you make dua (prayer) for someone, the angels make dua for you in return.”
“And whoever is patient and forgives – indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of resolve.” (Quran 42:43)
“To forgive is to trust Allah.” (3:159)
“Do you not love to be forgiven by Allah? And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran 24:22)
It is essential for us to demonstrate our love for our Creator by not only seeking His forgiveness and mercy but also by actively practicing mercy and forgiveness in our daily lives. This is the minimum effort we can make to show our love for Him.
